As a student in America, you probably use computer programs every day. Everything you do on a desktop, laptop, or cell phone uses some kind of program. People designed and created those programs, and you can learn to do it too.
This summer program will teach you the basics of writing computer pro- grams. As you learn, you’ll create simple games, tools, and graphical designs. We will be using Python, a popular programming language that is powerful but relatively easy to learn. Programming is a skill that involves both logic and creativity. It’s becoming an increasingly important skill in the modern world. It’s also a lot of fun! Instruction by St Lawrence University staff. Age 11+ ; CO-ED
Afternoon Soccer Camp – lots of exercise.
Description: Following a great lunch at Dana Dining Cafeteria you will join the renowned soccer camp of Lake Placid Soccer Centre. LPSC has run summer youth soccer camps at SLU for 25 years with an International Staff. With a core focus on individual soccer skills featuring The Coerver Coaching Method you will receive world class coaching on the athletic fields of SLU. Computer Combo Camp ends at 4:30PM.
